Brief history:

The Arntfield Mine, located on this property, produced approximately 0.5 million tonnes at a grade of 4.0 g/t Au and 1 g/t Ag, for a total of 61,000 oz Au, between 1935 and 1942. Richmont acquired the property in 2002.

Geological characteristics:

The property comprises the Arntfield deposit, located within the Francoeur-Wasa shear which runs east-west through the southern portion of the property. The main targets on this property are the down-dip extensions of the Francoeur deposits and the lateral extensions of known zones within the Francoeur-Wasa shear zone.
