Mr. Rivard holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He has held various roles of increasing responsabilities at the Company since he joined it in 1996. He has been a member of the Management Committee since 1997 and from 2000 to 2005, he served as Executive Vice-President. He was promoted Director, President and CEO in October 2005.

Christian Pichette, a mining engineer by training, holds a Master’s degree in Rock Mechanics and has more than 30 years’ experience in the mining field, during which he held managerial positions at Placer Dome, TVX Gold, Barrick Gold and Cambior. His expertise in underground operations is wide-ranging and is a valuable asset for the Company.

Nicole Veilleux holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1987. She has 20 years of solid experience in finance, including as Auditor for KPMG LLP, and as Financial Analyst for Norbord Industries Inc. and Le Fonds régional de solidarité Abitibi-Témiscamingue. She joined Richmont Mines in 1998, initially as Controller, and has been Financial Director since March 2006.

Ms. Sandra Cauchon received her LL.B. from the University of Sherbrooke in 2002. Ms. Cauchon was called to the Quebec bar in 2005. Ms. Cauchon joined Richmont Mines team in September 2008 as a lawyer. On February 24, she was appointed secretary by resolution of the board of directors.

Daniel Adam has a Ph.D in Geology from the University of Nancy in France and a large experience of production and exploration geology more than 20 years. He previously held various positions of responsibility for Selbaie Mines. He joined the Richmont Mines team in March 2008 as senior exploration geologist and since December 2008, he is the Exploration Manager.

Denis Bellemare is a mining engineer by training with more than 25 years of experience in the field. His expertise that enables him to prepare mining plans adapted to different types of deposits and to evaluate the economic aspects of projects. His career has included work with Falconbridge, Agnico Eagle and Barrick Gold. He joined the Richmont Mines team in 2005 as Chief Engineer, Projects.

Marcel St-Pierre has more than 15 years of experience as a First Line Supervisor, Captain and Mine Superintendent. He also contributed to the creation of an improvement continuous program at the Bousquet Mine, a division of Barrick Gold. Over the years, he has gained expertise in underground operating. He joined the Richmont Mines team in 2003 as Project Superintendent.

Maxime Grondin holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Laval. Through his work experiences, he developed expertise in human resource management adapted to the mining sector. He previously held the position of Human Resources Coordinator at a mining contractor Mr. Grondin joined the Richmont Mines team in June 2009.
