Renaud Adams, Eng., President and CEO

Mr. Adams has 20 years of mining experience, and served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Primero Mining Corp. Prior to this, Mr. Adams served as Senior Vice-President, Americas Operations, at IAMGOLD Corporation, and held various senior positions with Cambior Inc. and Breakwater Resources Ltd. Mr. Adams holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining and Mineral Processing from Laval University. Mr. Adams joined Richmont Mines in November 2014.

Daniel Adam, Geo. PhD, Vice-President Exploration

Mr. Adam obtained a Ph.D in Geology from the University of Nancy in France. He has more than 20 years of experience in production and geological exploration, which include numerous positions of varying responsibility at Selbaie Mines. Mr. Adam joined Richmont Mines in March 2008 as a Senior Exploration Geologist, and now holds the position of Vice-President Exploration.

Nicole Veilleux, CPA, CA, Vice-President Finance

Ms. Veilleux holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1987. She has over 20 years of experience in finance, including as an Auditor for KPMG LLP, and as a Financial Analyst for Norbord Industries Inc. and Le Fonds régional de solidarité Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Ms. Veilleux joined Richmont Mines in 1998, initially as Controller, and was promoted to Financial Director in March 2006, and Vice-President Finance in September 2014.

Christian Bourcier, Eng., Vice-President, Operations

Mr. Bourcier brings over 22 years of experience in the mining industry mainly in the prolific Abitibi region of northwestern Quebec. Most recently, Mr. Bourcier held the position of Vice-President, Process Improvement for Hecla Mining, where he was responsible for the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives throughout the American operations. From June 2013 to January 2015, he was the Vice-President and General Manager at the Casa Berardi Mine.

Mr. Bourcier joined the Richmont Mines team on January 11, 2016 as Vice-President, Operations.

Steve Burleton, CFA, MBA, Vice-President, Business Development

Mr. Burleton has over 18 years of experience in the Canadian investment banking industry having dealt with companies in mining, fertilizers and industrial products. Prior to joining Richmont, he was Vice President, Corporate Development for a publicly traded fertilizer producer with operations in Brazil and one of the few junior fertilizer development projects to reach production in recent years. In that role he was responsible for financing, strategic initiatives and investor relations. Previously, Mr. Burleton served as Managing Director of Investment Banking at Wellington West Capital Markets Inc. and at Scotia Capital Inc. Mr. Burleton is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds an MBA from York University. Mr. Burleton joined Richmont Mines in February 2015.

Anne Day, MBA, Senior Vice President, Investor Relations

Ms. Day brings over 18 years of investor relations and corporate communication experience, including 11 years in mining, to Richmont. During her career, Anne has demonstrated a proven ability to create “best in class” global investor relations and communications programs and that experience will help position Richmont for continued success. She most recently served as Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications for AuRico Gold Inc. where she was a key member of the executive team and an integral part of numerous corporate transactions and the strategic execution of the corporation’s growth strategy. Ms. Day joined Richmont in September 2015.Anne holds a BComm degree (Marketing) and an MBA (Finance) from the Sobeys School of Business.

Maxime Grondin, CIRC, Corporate Human Resources Director

Mr. Grondin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Laval. Through his work experiences, he developed expertise in human resource management adapted to the mining sector. He previously held the position of Human Resources Coordinator at a mining contractor. Mr. Grondin joined Richmont Mines in June 2009 as Coordinator, Human Resources. In December 2010 he was promoted to the position of Human Resources Manager and in June of 2012, held the position of Human Resources and Health and Safety Manager. In January 2016, he was promoted to his current role as Corporate Human Resources Director.

Miguel Mendoza, B. Sc. Information System Engineering, Director, Business Performance Management and Infrastructure

Mr. Mendoza has over 11 years of mining industry experience, during which he was responsible for managing a variety of administration departments including Logistics, Information Systems, Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, Environment and Camp Services in South America, Central America and recently in West Africa. His previous roles include Administration Manager for Breakwater Resources at the Mina El Mochito Mine in Honduras, and Special Project Manager and Continuous Improvement Superintendent, respectively, at IAMGOLD’s Rosebel Gold Mine in Suriname and Essakane Mine in Burkina Faso.

Mr. Mendoza holds a Bachelor of Science in Information System Engineering from the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua in Venezuela and equivalence in Canada. Mr. Mendoza joined Richmont in June 2015.

Jean Bastien, Eng., MBA, Island Gold Mine General Manager

Mr. Bastien holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Laval, and an MBA from the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. A member of the Order of Quebec Engineers, Mr. Bastien has more than 30 years of engineering, operations and managerial experience in the mining industry. He previously worked for Cambior (now IAMGOLD), Agnico-Eagle and Aurizon. Mr. Bastien joined Richmont Mines in July 2010, became General Manager of Operations in August 2012, and the Manager of the Island Gold Mine in December 2013.

Marc-André Lavergne, Eng., Beaufor and Monique Division General Manager

Mr. Lavergne holds a Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering from the Polytechnique School of Montreal. He has over 14 years of experience in mine engineering with various companies, including Cambior, Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited and North American Palladium. In November 2011, Mr. Lavergne joined Richmont Mines as General Superintendent at the Francoeur Mine, and has held various management positions within the Corporation, including at the Francoeur and the Beaufor divisions. Mr. Lavergne was named Manager, Beaufor and Monique Divisions in December 2013.

Mélissa Tardif, Lawyer and Corporate Secretary

Ms. Tardif brings over 7 years of experience in the legal field to Richmont Mines and has been a member of the Québec Bar since 2004. Her primary roles at Richmont include managing the legal affairs of the Corporation, providing legal advice to management, and writing certain public information documents. She also acts as Corporate Secretary for Richmont’s Board of Directors. Ms. Tardif joined Richmont Mines in August 2011.

Nathalie Doire, CPA, CA, Controller

Miss Doire holds a Bachelor`s degree in accounting sciences as well as a Master`s in Accounting Administration. Since 1991, Ms. Doire holds the title of CPA. She has served as expert panelist and auditor as well as professor at the University of Québec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT). Ms. Doire joined the team at Richmont Mines in May 2009 and was named Corporate Controller in 2014.

Rajesh Vyas, CPA, Controller, Operations

Mr. Vyas has over 13 years of experience in the gold mining industry with expertise in financial management, cost management, strategic planning and business process improvement. Prior to joining Richmont in April 2016, he served in various positions at Iamgold Corporation. His progressive experience includes roles that were close to operations and covered all aspects of the business such as exploration, development and operations. As Controller of Iamgold’s flagship asset in Suriname for ten years, he was responsible for operations and financial reporting, planning, and managing and controlling costs in a tight gold price environment. Mr. Vyas is a Chartered Accountant from India and also holds the CPA degree from California.

Vincent K. Ramcharan, P.Eng., M.Sc., Director – Corporate Responsibility, External Affairs, and Sustainability

Mr. Ramcharan has over 20 years of progressive experience on mining and infrastructure projects in Canada and international. He has held multi-faceted, corporate and senior operational roles in mining, environment, communities/indigenous peoples, and sustainability. He has worked with Cliffs Natural Resources, International Minerals, SNC-Lavalin(for Gold Reserves, Barrick, Agrium, Sherritt, BHP Billiton, Inmet), and Cambior on various projects. A Professional Engineer in Ontario, Mr. Ramcharan holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Mining, Mineral Processing and Geology) from University of Guyana, and a Master’s Degree in Environment/Hydrogeology from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Ramcharan has been actively working with Richmont since March 2015, and full-time from April 2016.
